Booyah!

Booyah! was written by our friend, Denver comic Chris Charpentier, originally conceived when he was 8. For us it has been a fun experiment. Like all of our films, a way to play with technique or try something new. We really took our time with the making of it, which from storyboard to color correction, took about a year. We spent a number of months recording foley with honorary Nix Bro Travis Funk in his recording studio. The process has been slow but creative, collaborative and fun. Filmmaking is not always something you can take your time with, so when you are allowed to you gotta enjoy it.

Rainbow Chasers takes 3rd place for Audience Favorite Award at Breck Film Fest!

Despite some issues with the projector during our screening, Rainbow Chasers tied for 3rd place for Audience Award at Breckenridge Film Fest! 3rd favorite out of 60+ films, we'll definitely take it!! The first tie in the Festival's 30 year history, apparently. We opened for the premiere of Ray Kurzweil's film Singularity Is Near, which was a treat for us. Thanks to everyone for all the support, the response to the film was overwhelmingly positive, in spite of the technical issues. We had an awesome weekend. Breckenridge is a gorgeous little town.
